      Amazon Web Services c5.24xlarge is a compute-optimized instance built on the Nitro hypervisor, featuring a dedicated Intel Xeon 8275CL processor with 96 vCPUs (48 physical cores) running at 3.6 GHz. It is equipped with 192.0 GB of DDR4 memory, delivering 2.0 GB of RAM per core, and provides 25 Gbps of baseline network bandwidth without local storage or GPUs. Benchmark results show strong multi-core CPU capabilities, high memory bandwidth, and excellent performance in software compilation, cryptography, and database operations. Conversely, single-core execution and LLM text generation benchmarks are average to poor. This instance is qualitatively cost-effective for compute-bound, highly parallelized workloads such as static web serving, software compilation, and distributed database tasks that do not require local NVMe storage.
