      Amazon Web Services c8g.2xlarge is a compute-optimized arm64 server instance powered by an 8-core AWS Graviton Neoverse-V2 processor running at 2.8 GHz. It features 16.0 GB of system memory, a 4 Gbps baseline network bandwidth, and operates on the Nitro hypervisor without local storage or a GPU. Performance benchmarks show strong results in uncached large-block memory read bandwidth, single-threaded bzip3 decompression, and Geekbench single-core tests. However, it exhibits weaker performance in cryptographic operations and medium-sized LLM prompt processing. This instance is designed for compute-intensive workloads such as text processing, software compilation, and lightweight web serving that leverage arm64 architecture.
