Built on the Nitro hypervisor, it includes 7500 GB of local NVMe SSD storage and a baseline network bandwidth of 12 Gbps, with no GPU accelerators. Performance benchmarks show a distinct tradeoff: single-core CPU execution and single-threaded compression are weak, falling into the bottom 25%, while multi-core processing, memory bandwidth, and Redis SET operations achieve average tier results. The instance's high storage-to-compute ratio provides qualitative cost efficiency for data-dense environments.
