It features 16 dedicated physical cores powered by an AWS Neoverse-V2 processor clocked at 2.8 GHz, paired with 128.0 GB of RAM and a bundled 3750 GB local NVMe SSD. The instance delivers strong memory performance, highlighted by a top-tier PassMark memory score and strong large-block memory bandwidth of 296.95 GB/sec read and 130.36 GB/sec write. While CPU and decompression benchmarks are strong, LLM inference speeds represent a performance tradeoff, with poor throughput on larger models. Qualitatively, the combination of high-density local NVMe storage and 8.0 GB of RAM per core provides a cost-effective platform for storage-heavy workloads.
