Built on the Nitro hypervisor, it features 16 dedicated vCPUs, 64.0 GB of system memory, and a 5 Gbps baseline network speed, with no local storage or GPU hardware. The Neoverse-N1 architecture includes 32 MB of L3 cache and supports AES cryptography, but lacks AVX or AMX extensions. Benchmarks show average multi-core CPU performance and high memory read bandwidth of up to 946.94 GB/sec, though single-core execution and cryptographic operations represent performance tradeoffs. The instance is highly cost-effective for multi-threaded workloads, making it suitable for application servers, Redis caching, static web serving, and software compilation. It is less suited for single-threaded tasks or large-scale LLM inference.
