Running on the KVM hypervisor, it features 8 dedicated x86_64 Intel cores (Haswell architecture) clocked at 2.2 GHz, 120.0 GB of RAM, a 200 GB local SSD, and a 1 Gbps network baseline. While the older CPU architecture results in poor single-core and weak multi-core benchmark performance, the instance maintains average capabilities in memory-bound operations. It achieves average performance in Passmark database tests and Redis SET operations, handling 8.58 million operations per second. The high memory-to-core ratio of 15.0 GB per core makes this server qualitatively cost-effective for memory-heavy applications that do not demand intensive compute.
