      Amazon Web Services m8g.4xlarge is an arm64 general-purpose instance powered by a 16-core AWS Graviton Neoverse-V2 processor running at 2.8 GHz. It features 64.0 GB of RAM, providing a balanced 4.0 GB of memory per core, and operates on the AWS Nitro hypervisor. The instance does not include local storage or GPU accelerators. Benchmark results show top-tier memory performance, with Passmark memory scores in the top 10% and strong uncached memory read and write bandwidth in the top 25%. Computational benchmarks, including Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests, also rank in the top 25%, alongside strong database operations and multi-threaded decompression. However, prompt processing for medium LLM models is a relative bottleneck, placing in the bottom 25%.
